Industrial Ethernet Connectors & Cable Assemblies

Amphenol Communications Solutions Industrial Ethernet Connectors and Cable Assemblies support Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) or Power-over-Data Line (PoDL), allowing remote devices to be powered through the same connection that carries the signals. Factory automation programs utilizing Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) connectivity offer expanded capabilities to communicate in the same language from sensors and input devices all the way up to the cloud. Ranging from single twisted pairs up to 1km away (10BASE-T1L) or a 10GBASE-T connection (CAT 6A) carrying real-time inspection data over a four-pair connection, a full range of solutions are available that can carry the load.

Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) IP20 Connectors

Amphenol Commercial Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) IP20 Connectors provide direct Ethernet connectivity to peripheral devices, such as sensors, actuators, and vision system cameras, that operate at speeds of up to 1Gb/s. Robust right-angle and vertical PCB-mount SPE jacks mate to field-terminable plugs, resulting in a complete shielded interface with metal latching features. Mechanically robust and secure latching with 360° shielding delivers excellent performance in harsh environments. Amphenol Commercial SPE IP20 Connectors feature current handling up to 4A, support Power over Data Link (PoDL) capability up to 1km, and are fully compatible with IEC 63171-6 interconnects from other authorized vendors. The series eliminates slow and complex fieldbus protocols and connections by simplifying and standardizing existing and new industrial network systems. SPE eliminates the need for protocol conversion gateways.
