The modules comply with the QSFP28 MSA, IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4, and IEEE 802.3bm CAUI-4. Digital diagnostic functions are available via the I²C interface. This Coherent optical transceiver complies with RoHS 6 Directive 2011/65/EU.

FTLX2071D SFP+ Transceivers

Coherent FTLX2071D SFP+ Transceivers are 10Gb/s enhanced small form-factor pluggable SFP+ devices designed for use in 10 Gigabit Ethernet links up to 10km over a single-strand, single-mode fiber (SMF). These FTLX2071D327 and FTLX2071D333 modules employ a limiting receiver to double the capacity of installed legacy SMF links. Coherent FTLX2071D SFP+ Transceivers are compliant with SFF-84311, IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE- LR/LW3, and 10G Fibre Channel 1200-SM-LL-L4. Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-84725. Host board designers using an EDC PHY IC should follow the IC manufacturer's recommended settings for interoperating the host board EDC PHY with a limiting receiver SFP+ module.

FTL4S1QE1C Optical Transceiver

Coherent FTL4S1QE1C Optical Transceiver is a hot-pluggable transceiver module designed for 40 Gigabit Ethernet links over duplex multi-mode fiber (MMF). The FTL4S1QE1C complies with the SWDM4 Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable QSFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3ba XLPPI electrical interface. Coherent FTL4S1QE1C Optical Transceiver features built-in digital diagnostic functions, including Tx/Rx power monitoring, which are available via an I²C interface as specified by the QSFP+ MSA.
