9159-500 BTB Connectors

KYOCERA AVX 9159-500 Through Board Card Edge BTB Connectors are designed for use inside LED light bulb assemblies, where a perpendicular PCB connection is needed through the rear of the main LED PCB. This series can also be used for rear connections on strip PCBs or other applications with bottom entry connections. The series features a unique design for harsh environments ranging from -40⁰C to +120⁰C. The design passed 1000 hours at 120ºC heat endurance testing. These connectors offer a low profile top side height of 0.6 mm without cap or 1.0mm with cap. KYOCERA AVX 9159-500 connectors are compatible with 0.8mm and 1.6mm mating PCBs, and SMT compatible with metal cores and FR4 PCBs. The series is commonly used in LED Light bulb assemblies, portable commercial / industrial handheld terminals, scanners, meters, solid-state lighting fixtures, industrial electronic modules, and controls.

KYOCERA AVX Card Edge Board-to-Board Technology Connectors feature a one-piece design engineered to fill gaps in various markets, especially as it relates to low pin count requirements. These single- and dual-row connectors are available in 2 to 12 positions with various configurations for perpendicular and linear PCB mating. KYOCERA AVX Card Edge B2B Technology Connectors withstand multiple cycles with minimal connection force, offer up to 3A per contact, and accept both 0.8mm and 1.6mm PCBs thanks to a gold-plated BeCu contact system for high reliability in harsh environments. Ideal applications include automotive, industrial, medical, agriculture, lighting, and consumer.
