Molex Micro-Fit Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) Connectors offer multiple circuit sizes and cable lengths for power applications. These Molex connectors offer 3mm pitch, up to 8.5A maximum current rating, and numerous design options, like terminal position assurance, blind-mating, and compliant pin features. Micro-Fit single- and dual-row connectors prevent terminal back-outs and are compatible with all existing Micro-Fit 3.0 receptacles, enabling a running change to incorporate the TPA products. Molex Micro-Fit TPA Single and Dual Row Receptacles ensure proper mating and prevent accidental back-outs with terminal position assurance (TPA) with integrated secondary lock. The single-row version delivers a one-piece solution and the double-row features a two-piece retainer, both with fully polarized housings. These receptacles are compatible with all existing Micro-Fit 3.0 headers and plugs, enabling users to implement running change to incorporate the TPA design and removes the need to change both sides of hte interface or to make significant revisions or investments in applications.

Micro-Fit 3.0 Connector System

Molex Micro-Fit 3.0 Connector System is designed to meet the needs for high contact density signal or power connectors. Micro-Fit 3.0 connectors feature a miniature 3mm (0.118") pitch, yet retain many of the features found on larger power connectors and can carry up to 8.5A of current. Molex Micro-Fit products are available in circuit sizes 2 to 24 for single- and dual-row, wire-to-board, and wire-to-wire applications such as computers, work stations, satellites, cellular phones, and a host of consumer products. Molex 46235 Micro-Fit 3.00mm Low Force Terminal offers the same reliability as the standard Micro-Fit products, but with half of the mating / unmating force for applications using large circuit sizes.
