EKMB & EKMC Ultra Slight PaPIRs Motion Sensors

Panasonic EKMB and EKMC Ultra Slight PaPIRs Motion Sensors are optimized for the detection of the smallest movements and objects and provide high and almost gapless switching zone density. These sensors offer a wide field of view (FoV) and 200 detection zones with an extremely small lens. Available lens colors include black, white, or pearl white. Panasonic EKMB and EKMC Ultra Slight PaPIRs Motion Sensors provide the same mechanical dimensions as the Wide Detection Type. Typical applications include lighting controls for offices, schools, walkways, streets, and smart homes as well as ventilation systems and air conditioners, security cameras, hot desking, and digital signage.

PIR IR Motion Sensors

Panasonic PIR Motion Sensors are passive infrared-type sensors that detect changes in temperature (>4°C) from the surroundings and detect movement. With a wide sensing area, the Panasonic PIR devices are low profile and available in polyethylene (9.7mm) and silicon lenses (6mm). The PIR motion sensors feature sleep mode, which allows for a low current consumption of 1µA. The EKMC series offers embedded circuit design and eliminates external sensing circuits.

Black, white, and pearl white lens colors are available. These passive infrared-type sensors detect temperature changes (>4°C) from nearby surroundings to detect movement. With a wide sensing area, the low-profile PaPIRs are available with a polyethylene (9.7mm) or silicon lens (6mm). Panasonic EKMC PIR Motion Sensors are ideal for security devices, wireless devices, housing and commercial equipment, and energy-saving home appliances. 

Motion & Position Sensors

Panasonic Motion and Position Sensors are built for low-profile applications and provide a long sensor life. These sensors are suitable for detecting the angle and rotating axes. Accelerometers, board-mount sensors, and tilt switches are for industrial and everyday use.
