EFR32xG21B SoC & xGM210P Modules with Secure Vault

Silicon Labs EFR32xG21B SoCs and xGM210P Modules with Secure Vault help address the challenges of a changing landscape and keep pace with regulations. Silicon Labs has introduced Secure Vault, a platform for securing and future-proofing loT devices. Secure Vault features Secure Key Management. Cryptography is core to security, and a foundational element to cryptography is the secrecy of its keys. Protecting those keys is the primary objective of any security system. Secure Vault takes advantage of a unique digital fingerprint generated by a physically unclonable function. This is used to create an AES symmetric key that physically disappears when the system powers down. The AES symmetric key doesn't even exist when the chip is off. This is an extremely effective solution to the key management challenge. The function can scale to support a vast number of keys as required by the developer application. Secure Vault also includes a tamper detection system so the key cannot be reconstructed once the device is shut down after a tamper event. Secure Vault is the most advanced suite of hardware and software security protection available today.

MGM210P Mighty Gecko Module

Silicon Labs MGM210P Mighty Gecko Module is designed to meet the performance, security, and reliability requirements of line-powered Internet of Things products for mesh networks. The MGM210P is based on the EFR32MG21 SoC and enables Zigbee®, Thread®, BLUETOOTH®, and multi-protocol connectivity (Zigbee + Bluetooth 5.1). The module is optimized for the needs of IoT solutions for the smart home and for commercial/industrial applications with hostile radio-frequency environments, including smart lighting and building/factory automation. This Gecko module provides outstanding RF performance and range, high-level security with Secure Vault, and support critical features for commercial/industrial reliability, such as a temperature rating of up to +125°C. The MGM210PB module offers 1024kB flash memory, OTA firmware and feature updates, and fully upgradable software stacks from Silicon Labs. Applications include Smart home, connected lighting, and building automation and security. 

Mighty Gecko & Blue Gecko BLUETOOTH® Modules

Silicon Labs Mighty Gecko and Blue Gecko Lighting Modules are designed to meet LED lighting solutions and line-powered Internet of Things products for BLUETOOTH® networks. Mighty Gecko modules enable Zigbee®, Thread®, Bluetooth, and multi-protocol connectivity (Zigbee + Bluetooth) for line-powered, smart LED lighting products. Silicon Labs Blue Gecko modules connectivity ranges from Bluetooth Low Energy, Bluetooth Mesh, and Bluetooth 5.1.
