The UIR products from TRACO Power offer reliable performance under the harshest environmental conditions. Additional features include high efficiency of up to 91%, a -40°C to +85°C ambient operating temperature range, and an I/O isolation voltage of 3000V_AC. These DC/DC converters are designed for railway and challenging industrial applications requiring a robust solution.

THN 20UIR 20W DC/DC Railway Converters

The TRACO Power THN 20UIR 20W DC/DC Railway Converters offer high performance to meet the demanding needs of railway and industrial applications. These THN 20UIR converters operate with an ultra-wide 12:1 input voltage range, 9V_DC to 75V_DC or 14V_DC to 160V_DC. The 20W DC/DC converters come in a compact, fully encapsulated 1”x1” housing for high reliability. These THN 20UIR converters feature a pre-mounted heatsink for convection cooling up to 70°C without derating. The THN 20UIR converters include a dedicated holdup capacitor connection that meets the extended holdup-time requirements without the need for bulky input capacitors. These DC/DC converters are EN 50155, EN 45545-2, and EN 61373, certified for rolling stock applications, fire behavior, and resistance against mechanical shock and vibration. These THN 20UIR converters are also IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 safety-approved for use in a wide range of demanding industrial applications.
