These converters are designed specifically for medical equipment requiring certified compliance with highly regulated medical standards. The devices are designed according to ISO 14971, including the risk management file. TRACO Power Medical DC/DC Converters range from 1W to 60W output power, covering DC inputs from 4.5V to 72V, single or dual outputs, and a reinforced isolation system of 5000V_AC with a very low leakage current of <5µA for 2XMOPP compliance.

TRV 2M Medical 2W DC/DC Converters

TRACO Power TRV 2M Medical 2W DC/DC Converters feature a wide 1.5:1 input voltage range with a nominal input ranging from 5V_DC to 24V_DC. These 2W medical converters are available in a compact SIP-9 package with reinforced isolation of 5000V_AC for medical and industrial applications. The series offers continuous short-circuit protection and a low <2µA leakage current, making it ideally suited to protect any connected interfaces or applied parts to patients. TRACO Power TRV 2M series DC/DC converters operate in a temperature range from -40°C to +80°C at full load without derating and are certified according to IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 3rd edition for 2xMOPP compliance and IEC/EN/UL 62368-1. The medical 2W series features almost fully regulated outputs to provide a remarkable level of regulation without affecting cost efficiency.
