These capacitors are constructed using an aluminum anode and a cathode made from a conductive electrolyte, allowing them to store a significant amount of energy in a small form factor. AECs offer long life, high ripple current handling, and low impedance. Vishay AECs provide a broad choice of aluminum capacitors and the product support necessary to specify the ideal products for automotive, medical, alternative energy, and other high-demand applications.

246 CTI-V SMD Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

Vishay / BC Components 246 CTI-V SMD Chip Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are high-temperature devices with low impedance, high vibration capabilities, and an extended lifespan of up to 6000h at 125°C. These polarized aluminum electrolytic capacitors are constructed with a non-solid electrolyte and are self-healing. The 246 CTi-V series is surface mountable with a baseplate, lead free, and reflow solderable. These capacitors are charge- and discharge-proof with no peak current limitation. Applications for Vishay / BC Components 246 CTI-V SMD AECs include SMD technology, industrial and professional, automotive, general industrial, telecom, and smoothing, filtering, buffering.
