Mouser Electronics and American Bright LED Join in Global Distribution Deal to Deliver Lighting Solutions

September 9, 2024 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest electronic components and industrial automation products, today announces a new global distribution agreement with American Bright LED, a leading global supplier of LED components and integrated solutions. Mouser's initial stock of American Bright products includes high-powered, tri-colored, RGB + IC addressable and standard LEDs, as well as infrared LEDs and IP-rated light strips and rope lights.

The BB-HRGBx, BB-HBGRx, and BB-2020BGR-x are tri-colored addressable LEDs with a built-in integrated circuit to regulate current input and color mixing. These devices feature a 256-level color set for a vibrant visual display and are offered in industry-standard package sizes. The BB-2020BGR-x series is also fully addressable and dimmable, enabling more dramatic lighting effects. These LEDs are well suited for large LED displays, architectural lighting, decoration and entertainment lighting, and gaming machines.

The AB-EZx SMD patented EzyLEDs are ideal for automotive, architectural, general, and landscape lighting applications. For this series of low-to-medium powered LEDs, the IC is built into the LED chip design, dramatically reducing the additional circuitry required and eliminating the need for an onboard driver and other passive components. The AB-EZx patented EzyLEDs are provided in an industry-standard 3030 package for easy integration into existing designs.

The BIR-HMx and BIR-HOx Infrared LEDs are well-suited for automatic control systems, smoke detectors, remote control applications, thermal imaging, touchless technology, security and surveillance. Offered in 0805 (2012), 1204 (3212), and 1206 (3216) package sizes, these IR LEDs are compatible with all SMT assembly methods and automatic placement equipment.

American Bright LED's AB-FA, AB-FC, and AB-FD light strips and AB-FB, AB-FF, and AB-FH rope lights are designed to easily add light to any indoor or outdoor application. These light strips and rope lights are offered with IP20, IP65, and IP68 Ingress Protection (IP) ratings and are available in various lengths and colors. These light strips provide a wide 120º viewing angle and are ideal for architectural lighting in both commercial and residential settings, entertainment lighting, status indication, marine and accent lighting.
